What is the Penguin Shuffle?

At PFE, no family pays for school supplies. No family pays for field trips. That's not the district — that's the PTO. The Penguin Shuffle is our largest fundraiser of the year, and it's what makes the rest possible: every classroom gets their supplies, field trips and the buses that get us there are paid for, and guest authors and speakers come to our school. It also supports our amazing Field Day and the 5th grade celebration. No selling required. Just donations.
How your donation helps -
Our school wide goal is $20,000!
394 students × 5 donors each × $10 = $19,700 That's the whole plan. Help your child ask five people — a grandparent, a neighbor, an aunt, a coworker, a family friend — for $10 each. Five small asks beat one big one — and students can always ask for more!
Do you own a business — or work for one?
Costs are up for everyone, and we're feeling it too — everything we fund costs more than it did last year. Business sponsorships are how we close that gap without cutting back on teacher appreciation events, winter classroom stipends for teachers, and prizes or supplies for events.
